Isa Avendaño, born in 1986 in Germany, began riding at the age of six and owned her first horse at 11. She initially competed in modern dressage and show jumping before transitioning to Natural Horsemanship and Liberty training. Isa spent 20 years riding bitless, which deepened her understanding of the horse's natural movements and communication.

For the past 10 years, she has specialized in developing horses through classical horsemanship, rehabilitating horses from being unridable to becoming happy, trusting companions. Isa's approach integrates the teachings of the old masters with the principles of the Vertical School of Manuel J. de Oliveira.

Since 2014, Isa has run Finca Soley, where she has taught horsemanship to students from around the world. Her focus is not only on the health and development of her 11 schooling horses but also on the growth of her students, having worked with riders of all levels—from beginners to high-class dressage competitors.
