Volunteer Opportunities at Finca Soley:

  • Horse Volunteer Program: Dive into the world of horses through care, training, and classical riding techniques while contributing to the farm's daily operations.

  • Farm Volunteer Program: Engage in a variety of farm activities, including animal care, gardening, food production, and sustainable projects.

In exchange for your work, you’ll gain hands-on experience, learn about liberty training, classical riding, and sustainable farming practices, and get a taste of life in Costa Rica.

Please Note:
Farm work can be physically demanding and requires a certain level of fitness, as well as a willingness to get your hands dirty. If you're seeking a more relaxed experience, we also offer vacation programs designed for those who prefer to enjoy the farm's tranquility without the physical commitment of volunteer work.

Finca Soley Volunteer

Horse Volunteer Program

Become a part of our daily activities and immerse yourself in a unique experience abroad! Live on a peaceful ecological farm, meet people from around the world, and explore new cultures. This program is perfect for individuals seeking a longer stay, an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of horses, and a chance to embrace a different way of life.

 

Program Details:

  • Minimum Stay: 3 weeks

  • Responsibilities:

    • Care for horses and maintain the barn

    • Participate in lessons and courses in exchange for your work

    • Tend to other farm animals

    • Assist with maintaining tack and equipment

    • Contribute to sustainable projects, such as cheese-making and food production at Finca Soley

  • Work Schedule: 5 hours per day, 5 days per week

 

What’s Included:

  • Lessons in classical riding and natural horsemanship

  • Spanish language course

  • Affordable pricing for long-term stays, ideal for young people eager to help on the farm

Farm Volunteer 

Experience the rewards of working on the land and connecting with nature as a farm volunteer. Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of our tropical, ecological farm while contributing to meaningful, sustainable projects. Work 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, and enjoy the satisfaction of living simply, learning new skills, and giving back to the earth.
